Neurology ACO Toolkit Released

The North Carolina Neurological Society is pleased to announce the completion of the initial ACO Guide for Neurologists.  The development of this strategic resource involved input of many neurologists and thought leaders who convened through the Toward Accountable Care Consortium (TACC), which was coordinated by the North Carolina Medical Society.

Part One of the toolkit contains the necessary elements for a successful Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and implementation guidance.  Part Two applies the principles and processes of the guide to provide specific strategies and practical step-by-step guidance using helpful examples, including how to apply successfully for the Medicare Shared Savings Program.

The purpose of this guide is to equip neurologists with knowledge and confidence as they consider joining or forming an ACO.
